Bonney Lake Registration Tools
VoteWA combines record review with election services. The signed-in voter may update an address, inspect My Voter Information, track a returned ballot, and obtain district or voting-location details. That current personal view is simpler than downloading a statewide file. Pierce County, rather than the City of Bonney Lake, administers the local registration behind it.
Residence and mailing fields should not be treated as the same fact. District boundaries also change after redistricting. For a current district question, use the live voter record and current district data rather than carrying an old precinct label forward.
What Washington Voter Records Reveal
RCW 29A.08.710 makes the original registration form confidential. It limits the automated public file to eight categories: name, address, political jurisdiction, gender, year of birth, voting record, registration date, and registration number. A voting record means elections in which someone participated. It never identifies a candidate, measure choice, or secret-ballot selection.

Confidential by law. RCW 29A.08.710 and .720 withhold full birth dates, signatures, ID numbers, Social Security digits, phone, email, registration source, and protected addresses.
Future-voter information remains protected while the registrant is underage under RCW 29A.08.725. The registration agency and a person's decision not to register are confidential too. A public voter file is not a copy of the source form.
Bonney Lake Voter Roll Limits
Washington voter registration does not include party affiliation. The state also does not publish how a person voted. Participation data may show that a voter took part in an election, but the secret ballot stays secret. Year of birth may appear where allowed; a full birth date does not.
LastVoted is an election date, not a candidate choice. A registration address is administrative data, not a promise that the voter still lives there. Treat public extracts as dated records.

Request Washington Voter Registration Data
The Washington voter database extract request offers an active-voter list with current and prior-year voting history plus district and precinct data. The state refreshes it near each month's start. Delivery is a ZIP link sent by email, with vertical-bar-delimited CSV files. The page lists no fee and says to allow up to five business days, though delivery is often immediate.
- Supply the required name, email, phone, address, city, state, and ZIP fields.
- Select a file and county. Read the declaration tied to RCW 29A.08.720, .740, and RCW 42.56.070(8).
- Choose “I agree to the above.” Save the emailed link, extract the ZIP, and retain the file date.
Any person may request the list at reproduction cost. Washington bars its use for commercial advertising, offers, or solicitation of money, services, or value. RCW 29A.08.740 makes prohibited commercial-mailing misuse a class C felony and permits civil nuisance damages of five dollars per item. Lawful political uses defined by statute are separate. Never use voter data to stalk, harass, or harm anyone.

The official VRDB field guide defines 33 columns. Identity fields include StateVoterID, first, middle, and last names, suffix, year of birth, and gender. Residence is split into number, fraction, street name and type, unit, directions, city, state, and ZIP. Separate mailing lines may point elsewhere.

Inactive Bonney Lake Voter Records
Returned undeliverable election mail can move a registration to inactive. An address update, ballot request, or new application can restore active status. Nonvoting alone at an unchanged address does not make a voter inactive. Cancellation may follow after an inactive voter remains so through two consecutive federal general elections.
Other grounds include a request, duplicate record, death, adjudicated ineligibility, or qualifying felony incarceration. Staff review possible duplicate matches. RCW 29A.08.770 requires at least two years of list-maintenance records, including notices, responses, removals, and reasons.
Protected Bonney Lake Voter Registration
Washington's Address Confidentiality Program operates under chapter 40.24 RCW. An ACP voter follows a special registration process. The real address remains confidential for district assignment, while ballots route through a substitute address. RCW 40.24.060 removes the participant's name and actual address from public voter lists. WAC 434-324-034 bars protected data from a public database.
ACP does not erase older public records. Future voters are absent from public files while underage. These lawful omissions mean a public extract cannot be a complete roster of every registered person connected to Bonney Lake.

The statewide voter database began in 2006. Some earlier county participation was imported, but coverage varies. Pierce past-election pages reach 2000 to the present and group 1990 through 1999. State election results reach 1898. An aggregate result proves an outcome, not one person's participation.
No official catalog series with exact years for named-person Pierce poll books or registration registers was verified. Request authoritative abstracts and check State Archives catalogs. Current 2026 service also sits outside Bonney Lake: Tacoma remains year-round, peak full-service centers open in Puyallup and Parkland/Spanaway, and libraries provide VoteWA computers and self-printed replacement ballots.
